A few Sunday’s ago, I had a stall set up at the Fenny Poppers festival – it was lucky that the sun came out and the rain stayed away!
I made about 400 cupcakes in preparation for the event, in the two days running up to it. I spent Friday baking all the bases (vanilla, chocolate, lemon, carrot cake and chocolate orange) and all Saturday making the frosting and decorating the cupcakes. This time, I branched out and introduced a couple of new flavours – Strawberry Trifle (with a real strawberry on top), Chocolate Orange, Oreo and Carrot Cake. Along with these, there were the standard vanilla, chocolate and lemon cupcakes.
